3D Animation & Rendering Services

Closely related to VFX work, 3D animation is the wholesale production of moving 3D imagery. If it can’t be shot or done with an illustration or composite, 3D animation is the way to go.

3D renders are the best way to show off products and architecture.

We have produced high end animated 3D sequences and 360 renders for clients and agencies alike. We can work with third party designers (you) or provide our own (not you).

We use Octane, Cinema4D and various third party plugins. In the near future, we will be exploring the use of Unreal Engine 5, because everyone else is.

Interactive 360 experiences, which are just shy of fully immersive real-time 3D, can be experienced with a VR headset, which some people allegedly own.

2D Animation Production / Direction

This bit is about animated sequences for use within documentaries and such.

Animated imagery can be used to support voice over and drive things forward when live action coverage isn’t available. Think of the animated sequences used in Netflix documentaries whenever a closeup of a cassette isn’t appropriate.

Animated Infographic / Explainers

Animations which feature facts, figures, charts and such are called Explainer Videos on this specific website and possibly elsewhere perhaps.

With the right script, an Explainer Video can be used to explain anything!

Generally, a distinction is made between an Infographic Explainer and a Character Led / Story Explainer (see above) in terms of pricing and turnaround, although there is some overlap.
